Summary:PURPOSE: A method for preparing biocompatible organopolymeric germanium is provided to ensure simple manufacturing process and to prepare biocompatible organopolymeric germanium having excellent yield and purity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing biocompatible organopolymeric germanium of chemical formula 1 by a sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution comprises the steps of: (i) injecting germanium dioxide in a sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution to form germanium silicate glass; and (ii) performing ring-opening polymerization by injecting the lactone compound to the germanium silicate glass.
