Summary: | PURPOSE: A liquid crystal device including an embedded element and a method for designing the same are provided to minimize the loss of brightness by including a standard chromaticity coordinate value into a white point chromaticity. CONSTITUTION: An adjustable backlight spectrum range is provided(S104). According to the controllable backlight spectrum range, each sub pixel area ratio of internal element is determined(S106,S108). A white chromaticity coordinate of a liquid crystal panel is calculated. A deviation between the white chromaticity coordinate value and the target chromaticity coordinate value is calculated. |
