Summary:PURPOSE: A portable information terminal having a touch screen panel in the front side and the back side is to input the operation and contents control command etc. by using the index finger. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen panel is installed in the front surface and the back side of the personal information terminal. touch mode decision part detects a touch from the touch screen panel installed at the front surface and the back side. In the touch mode decision part, if one touch screen panel is selected, the first device stops the input by using the touch screen panel which is not selected. A second apparatus displays the information inputted from the selected touch screen panel in the front surface.
