PURPOSE: A feedback torque limiter for an actuator is provided to minimize the influences of actuator drag torque by directly sensing the output torque on the output shaft of an actuator. CONSTITUTION: A feedback torque limiter for an actuator comprises a gear reducing part(32), an output torque sensor(36), an input torque limiter(40), and a feedback device(38). The gear reducing part delivers torque from an input shaft(30) to an output shaft(34). The output torque sensor detects the output torque of an actuator(20). The input torque limiter grounds additional torque from the input shaft into a housing. The feedback device is coupled with the input torque limiter when the output torque detected by the output torque sensor reaches the set value.
