Summary:PURPOSE: A method for reassembling medium access control protocol data units and receiver performing the same are provided to simultaneously connect a base station with a terminal by a multi carrier, thereby efficiently assembling MAC PDU(Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit)s. CONSTITUTION: A MAC layer of a receiver receives at least one MAC PDU from at least one HARQ function unit of a multi physical layer(S100). A unit for extracting a fraction of the MAC layer extracts at least one fraction from the MAC PDU(S110). A controller of the MAC layer compares the order number of the fraction with a preset start point(S120). The controller of the MAC layer sets a new start point(S130). A unit for reassembling the MAC layer reassembles fractions before the new start point(S140).
