PURPOSE: A SYPHON-TYPE HYDRAULIC TURBINE DEVICE is provided to ensure easy maintenance since there is no need for disassembling of an intake pipe to inspect or repair a pipe. CONSTITUTION: A syphon-type hydraulic turbine device comprises a syphon pipe(1), an axial-flow runner, a generator(16) and an intake pipe. The syphon pipe comprises an intake pipe(2) and a discharge pipe(4) and makes water send from a higher position to a lower position. The intake pipe is arranged on the higher position in water. The discharge pipe is arranged on the lower position in water. The axial-flow runner receives and rotates water from the syphon pipe. The axial-flow runner is installed near an intake port(2a) in the intake pipe. The generator is connected to the axial-flow runner. The generator drives the axial-flow runner to pump up water from the higher position into the syphon pipe to form syphon.
