Summary:PURPOSE: A sponge tongs for painting is provided to prepare tongs which pick up the sponge in place of brush and seek for the convenience of painting. CONSTITUTION: The sponge tongs includes: a sponge(10) which is for color to be smeared to paint pictures; a tong finger(110) of "V" shape in which a elastic member(111) is formed in one end to pick both sides of the sponge; a fitting part(123) in which the other end of the tong finger shrunken because the elastic member of the tong finger is inserted.; and a lock band(120) in which press finger is expanded to push the upper part of the sponge in the other side of the fitting band. The other end of the press finger(121) is formed into 2 shift(126) of separated and the 2 shift of separated is expanded to the press finger.
