Summary:PURPOSE: A dust collecting apparatus having a dust removing unit is provided to have effect that the structure of dust collecting apparatus becomes simple even if the separate dust transportation path is not installed since dust separated from the filter material moves to a second cyclone part flowing backward through a second cyclone discharge tube, and to compact the volume of the dust collecting apparatus since the dust, separated from the filter material by the dust removing operation, is accepted to the chamber for the second dust hold of the second cyclone part and separate dust hold chamber does not need to be formed. CONSTITUTION: The dust collecting apparatus having a dust removing unit includes: a first cyclone unit(110); a second cyclone unit(130); a filter assembly; and a dust collecting unit. The first cyclone unit separates dust included in air by rotating external air which is flowed in. The second cyclone unit includes: a second centrifugation chamber(C3) which separates minute air by flowing in the first separated air from the first cyclone unit; and a second cyclone exhaust(138) in which the fined air is flowed out. The filter assembly is arranged in the upper part of the second cyclone unit and includes the filter material which separates minute dust again from the fine air flowed out from the second cyclone unit. The dust removing unit add impact to the filter material and separates accumulated dust in the filter material.
