Summary:PURPOSE: A rotor for axial gap-type permanent magnetic rotating device is provided to obtain high output and the thermal resistance by using the Nd system sintered magnet as the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A rotor(21) comprises an plurality of permanent magnet segments(12) arranged on the circumference centered on the rotation axis of a disk. The permanent magnet segment has the magnetization direction which is parallel with the surface of the rotor yoke(23) or the rotary shaft. A stator(31) comprises a plurality of coils arranged in circumferential direction of the rotation axis.
