PURPOSE: A vermiculite gasket for a pipe flange and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to ensure good expansion and contraction property and enable application of a vermiculite to both general and stem pipelines. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a vermiculite gasket for a pipe flange is as follows. An inorganic binder, mortar, heat-resistant synthetic rubber, and heat-resistant synthetic resin are mixed and compressed. The compressed material is heat-treated to produce a raw sheet. Gaskets according to each size are made out of the raw sheet.
