Summary:PURPOSE: A packet decoding method and an apparatus thereof in a digital broadcasting system are provided to increase the decoding performance of packets after increasing the decoding number of packets having low channel estimation performance. CONSTITUTION: An SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) measuring unit(220A) measures SNR of each packet. A decoding control unit(250A) controls in order to decode the packet. A decoder(240) decodes the packet according to a control command of the decoding control unit. The decoding control unit decides the maximum decoding number of packets.
