PURPOSE: A natural antibacterial composition using natural herb ingredients is provided to reduce use of antiseptic such as paraoxybenzoic acid ester, methylparaben, ethylparaben, and propylparaben. CONSTITUTION: A natural antibacterial composition contains Citri Unshiu Semen, Inula japonica Thunberg, Phellodendri Cortex, and Scutellariae Radix extract mixed in the ratio of 1:1:1:1. A cosmetic product contains the natural antibacterial composition. The herb extract is obtained using water, organic solvent, or mixture solvent thereof. The organic solvent is ethanol, jsopropanol, butanol, ethylene, acetone, ether, hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, DMF(N,N-dimethylformamide), DMSO, or mixture thereof.
