Summary:PURPOSE: An external in-line LPG fuel pump is provided to evenly disperse the load of a motor because two bushings are installed on both ends of the motor, thereby improving durability. CONSTITUTION: An external in-line LPG fuel pump comprises a main body, a pumping unit(20), and a motor unit(30). The main body comprises an inlet cover(11) with an inlet(16) for letting LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) fuel in, an outlet cover(12) with an outlet(17) for letting LPG fuel out, and a housing(10) in which the inlet and outlet covers are coupled to both open sides and a guide diaphragm(13) is formed to divide the internal space. The pumping unit is formed in the inlet cover side of the housing in order to draw LPG fuel into the housing and transfer the LPG fuel. The motor unit comprises a motor(31) which is formed in the outlet cover side of the housing and generates torque with electricity and a motor shaft(32) which is formed to pass through the inside of the motor with both ends respectively connected to the pumping unit and the outlet cover.
