Summary:PURPOSE: An automatic scanner for inspecting a curved part is provided to ensure the reliability of automatic ultrasound and the soundness of a facility since the automatic ultrasound can be accurately performed on the curved part. CONSTITUTION: An automatic scanner for inspecting a curved part comprises a Y-axis driving motor(320), a Y-axis arm adjustment unit(350), gear and belt(306), ball and roller(370) and Y-axis encoder(390). The Y-axis driving motor is directly connected to the body(310) and the Y-axis arm(330) of the automatic scanner. The Y-axis arm adjustment unit adjusts the height difference between the Y-axis arm and the inspected surface of a target. The gear and belt transfers rotating movement from the Y-axis driving motor to a Y-axis arm screw. The gear and belt is formed on the upper end of the Y-axis arm adjustment unit to hold the angle change of the Y-axis arm according to the angle change of the inspected surface.
