Summary:PURPOSE: A slab milling method is provided to use waste heat for preheating a slab and to optimize the point of time for increasing temperature using the pre-heated slab. CONSTITUTION: A slab milling method is as follows. A slab is inserted into a heating furnace and is heated. The heated slab is rolled. The rolled slab is cooled. The cooled slab is reeled. When a production pause is generated, the slab is pre-put into the heating furnace in order to use concurrent heat.
