Summary:PURPOSE: A Spodoptera litura-derived ODC(ornithine decarboxylase) is provided to repetitively and continuously kill worms. CONSTITUTION: A Spodoptera litura-derived ODC has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A gene encoding ODC protein has base sequence of sequence number 1. A host cell is obtained by transforming a host cells with a recombinant vector containing the gene encoding ODC protein. The host cell is yeast. A method for normally recovering yeast proliferation and polyamine synthesis comprises: a step of knocking-out ODC gene in a yeast; and a step of transforming with the recombinant vector to overexpress ODC gene.
