Summary:PURPOSE: A probe, kit and method for diagnosing resistance to a drug for tuberculosis are provided to effectively treat tuberculosis. CONSTITUTION: A gene probe for diagnosing resistance to a drug for tuberculosis is selected from sequence numbers 23-30, 31, 32, 33-36, 37-41, 42-53, 54-57 or 58-67. The drug for tuberculosis is rifampin, isoniazid, ofloxacin, kanamycin or streptomycin. A composition for diagnosing resistance to a drug for tuberculosis contains the probe and a primer for amplifying Mycobacterium tuberculosis. A kit for diagnosing the resistance contains the probe and primer. A method for diagnosing the drug resistance comprises: a step of attaching the probe to a solid support; a step of hybridizing amplified PCR product of Mycobacterium tuberculosis with the probe; and a step of detecting hybridized product.
