Summary:PURPOSE: A method for controlling the temperature of a refrigerator and a refrigerator using the same are provided to simplify the structure of a refrigerator by controlling the temperature of a freezer and a cold room using a single evaporator, a single blow fan, and a single damper. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body, a cool air duct(130), a damper(140), an evaporator(50), a ventilation fan(60), a compressor, a condenser, a three-way valve, a first expander, a second expander, and a controller. The main body comprises a cold room(110) and a freezer(120). The cool air duct has inlets(114,124) and outlets(112,122) communicated with the cold room and the freezer. The damper opens and closes the outlet of the cold room. The evaporator is installed inside the duck and exchanges heat between the refrigerant and cool air. The ventilation fan discharges the cool air to the outlet. The compressor compresses refrigerant. The condenser is connected to the compressor. The three-way valve connects to the condenser. The first expander and the second expander are respectively connected to the outlet of the three-way valve. The open degree of the second expander is larger than the opening of the first expander.
