Summary:PURPOSE: A formed body, a catalyst and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the loss of pressure in a charging process by forming a penetration hole and an opening on the formed body. CONSTITUTION: A molding body comprises a plurality of pillar forming units, and a bridge unit(11). A plurality of pillars are arranged in at least one gap. The bridge unit is formed on both sides of at least longitudinal direction of the plurality of pillar forming units. The bridge unit is bonded with adjacent pillar forming units. A through hole(13) is made by the plurality of pillar forming units. An opening(14) is formed around the formed body by a gap between the pillar forming unit.
