Summary:PURPOSE: A plug and play device for a home network is provided to add a function for multimedia streaming to an existing home appliance through a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) Proxy. CONSTITUTION: A network interface module(110) performs the access to a home network, and a decoder(120) decodes a multimedia file. The network interface module receives the multimedia file through the home network. An audio output module(130) outputs the decoded audio to the home appliance. A video output module(140) outputs the decoded video to the home appliance, and a remote controller(150) remotely controls the home appliance.
