Summary: | PURPOSE: A pulse stretcher with reduced energy density on optical components is provided to prevent energy density damage to a fold mirror by installing the center focus of a first beam to be speared from the fold mirror. CONSTITUTION: A pulse stretcher or a pulse modifier increases the length of pulse of a laser beam. A beam splitter(306) divides an input beam into first and second beams. A confocal resonator includes a first con-focal mirror and a second con-focal mirror. A fold mirror(320) has equal distance from a con-focal(304A) mirror and a con-focal mirror(304B). |
