Summary:PURPOSE: An HDRI panorama image generating apparatus using a fisheye lens and a method thereof are provided to generate an HDRI panorama image using an obtained camera response function, thereby generating an HDRI panorama image for realistic modeling and rendering. CONSTITUTION: An image converting unit(110) converts each photographed image into a square image using a fisheye lens toward fixed directions at every exposure time. The photographed image is a circular image photographed by a fisheye lens. A stitching unit(120) extracts at least one feature point from each square image at every exposure time. The stitching unit stitches the square image considering a feature point corresponding to the square image to generate a panorama image.
