PURPOSE: A method for providing contents synchronization on network, an apparatus thereof and a contents management server are provided to efficiently utilize network resource by synchronizing contents information using contents information and IP information. CONSTITUTION: A control terminal(100/N) transmits the information about the arbitrary contents and internet protocol address information. When the information of the contents and the updated contents are received, the control terminal updates its own contents based on the information of the contents. A contents management server(104) temporarily stores the information and internet protocol address information of the contents.
