PURPOSE: A method for determining drug compatibility using cholinergic type II theta rhythm for preventing or treating anxiety disorder is provided to monitor progress after cholinergic drug treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining drug compatibility for preventing or treating anxiety disorder comprises: a step of measuring cholinergic type II theta rhythm in an individual with anxiety disorder; a step of selecting the individual in which amplitude of cholinergic type II theta rhythm is reduced comparing to normal individual; and a step of determining the individual which is required to treat cholinergic enhancer. The cholinergic theta rhythm is measured using electroencephalogram(EEG). A kit for determining drug compatibility for preventing or treating anxiety disorder contains the EEG meter for analyzing theta rhythm.
