Summary: | PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing thigh stem for the artificial hip joint is provided, which allows light weight and enough rigidity. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing thigh stem for the artificial hip joint comprises: a step of irradiating electronic beam to a container in which titanium powder is contained; a step of forming ingot by solidifying titanium powder after dissolving the titanium powder by moving the focus of the electronic beam; and a step of manufacturing the thigh stem by separating the ingot from the container. The focus of the electronic beam is moved in order to discharge titanium powder by forming a discharge hole(121) communicating with the outside. |
