PURPOSE: A safety valve for a spraying gun and a method thereof are provided to enable that the power which a biasing member is added and a torsion element moves the valve core to an off position. CONSTITUTION: A safety valve for a spraying gun includes a torsion element, a biasing member, and a geared device. The torsion element can be rotated about the housing(15) of the spraying gun to the loading point. The biasing member supplies power to the torsion element so that the torsion element transfer the valve core to the off position. The geared device has a loading point in order to be selectively bitted to each other in the torsion element. When in the geared device, the power more than the fixed power is, in advance, applied, the torsion element is maintained in the loading point. When in the geared device, the power smaller than the fixed power is, in advance, applied, its engagement is released from the torsion element.
