Summary:PURPOSE: A car-to-car distance control method of a vehicle using traffic information offering system is provided to control the distance between vehicles by providing a service based on GPS. CONSTITUTION: A vehicles communication unit is installed in vehicles. A traffic information supply system communicates with the vehicle communication unit. The speed of a front vehicle and passing time of a current position are received from a communication unit(101) which is installed inside the road. The speed and current position of a user vehicle is received from a vehicle ahead of the user. The speed is adjusted to control the distance between the vehicles ahead of the user.
