Summary:PURPOSE: A method and a device for transmitting data in a relay network are provided to transmit the data by alternation change of neighboring subcarrier after interleaving space time block encoded data, thereby obtaining frequency diversity. CONSTITUTION: A relay decodes a BS(Base Station) transmission signal(520). The relay performs a space time block encoding of the decoding signal(530). The relay performs interleaving in a subcarrier unit which is the same number with the number of relay about a generated encoding matrix(540). The relay transmits transmission data about a terminal in data in the interleaved encoding matrix. The terminal receives the data.
