Summary: | PURPOSE: A biosensor coated with an electroactive polymer layer is provided to remarkably extend the lifespan of the biosensor by controlling time and frequency of a bio-receptor which is exposed to an analyte when the biosensor is used as a transplanted biosensor. CONSTITUTION: A biosensor(S) coated with an electroactive polymer layer comprises: a bio-receptor capable of detecting an analyte; a signal converter which converts concentration information of the analyte into a signal; the electroactive polymer layer(A) which is attached to the surface of the bio-receptor; and an electrode which is connected to the electroactive polymer layer. The electroactive polymer shows conduct of contraction and relaxation. The electroactive polymer is electroactive hydro gel. |
