Summary:PURPOSE: A signature integrating device is provided to rapidly exclude defective signatures by enabling an operator to move a guide member to the position for the removal of the defective signatures and removing the signatures. CONSTITUTION: A signature integrating device comprises a guide member(20), a support unit(22), a drive unit(33), and clutch members(31,35,37). The guide member aligns the signatures integrated by the contact with the edge of the signature. The support unit supports the guide member to move in one direction. The drive unit drives the guide member. The clutch unit is interposed between the drive unit and the guide member.
