Summary:PURPOSE: A composition containing monosaccharide and ascorbic acid is provided to strengthen and maintain combination between dermis and epidermis without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.4-30 weight% of monosaccharide of mannose, rhamnose, or mixture thereof; and additive compound of ascorbic acid, analog thereof, and mixture thereof in physiologically acceptable medium. The content of ascorbic acid or analog thereof is 0.001-30 weight% based on total composition. The composition is suitable in local administration, oral administration, or transdermal injection.
