Summary:PURPOSE: An ultrasound probe, a single acoustic probe, and a method for detecting defects are provided to improve sensitivity to a noisy material, and to irradiate new ultrasonic wave to the noisy material. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound probe comprises a polycarbonate delay layer(14) and an acoustic sound determination element(12). The polycarbonate delay layer forms a first surface. The acoustic sound determination element is arranged on a second surface of the polycarbonate delay layer. The polycarbonate delay layer has a Lucite delay layer and a rexoite delay layer and has a 20~40mm height.
