Summary:PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to prevent the abrasion of a spline part by properly controlling the forced press-fit quantity of the spline part installed at the rotary shaft of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a front housing(120), a rear housing(130), a rotary shaft(140), and a piston(115). The cylinder block comprises a center bore(111) and a plurality of cylinder bores(113). The rotary shaft is installed passing through the center bore and is coupled and rotated with a swash plate(148) and a spline part(140') is formed at the outer circumference of the rotary shaft to be coupled with a hub(170). The piston detects the rotation of the rotary shaft through the swash plate to compress refrigerant in the cylinder bores. A guide part and a press-fitted part are consecutively formed at the spline part along the coupling direction of the hub and the rotary shaft and the width and the height of the guide part increases as the guide part becomes close to the press-fitted part.
