CONSTITUTION: An organic compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic light emitting device comprises: an anode placed on a substrate; a hole transport layer placed on the anode; a light emitting layer placed on the hole transport layer; and electron transport layer containing the compound of chemical formula 1. The organic light emitting device further contains a hole injection layer between anode and hole transport layer.
