Summary: | PURPOSE: A marine propeller and a manufacturing method thereof including surface hardening heat treatment for improving fatigue property are provided to carry out uniform heat treatment over the propeller surface using a three-dimensional transfer device. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a marine propeller comprises the steps of: melting a raw material for a propeller, solidifying the molten material and casting it, finish-cutting the surface of the cast product, carrying out partial surface heat treatment for reinforcement on the maximum load portion of the propeller, and carrying out partial surface heat treatment again in order to eliminate the residual stress. |
