Summary:PURPOSE: A bottom freezer refrigerator equipped with one evaporator and a controlling method of the same is provided to prevent a refrigerant shortening and to reduce costs by using one evaporator. CONSTITUTION: Whether cold air is flown to a refrigeration room or a cooling room or not is decided(S1). The cold air is transferred to a refrigeration room or a cooling room by controlling a freezer fan or a damper according to the decision result. A refrigerator duct is closed and the freezer fan is kept with the stationary state by controlling the damper. The freezer fan is kept with an operating state. The freezer fan is stopped when the temperature of the inside of the freezer reaches to a first set temperature or stays in a range of the first preset temperature.
