Summary:PURPOSE: An organic framework is provided to reversibly or irreversibly adsorb hydrolgen and to use as a hydrogen storage media. CONSTITUTION: An organic framework comprises plural plate layer and Lewis base which is covalent-bound to boron-containing cluster. The plate layer forms a building block by covalent bond of two or three aromatic ring of C6-C204 to linear or circular boron-containing cluster. The distance between plate layers is 4-15 Å. An atom which is bound to boron by covalent bond is nitrogen(N), oxygen(O), phosphorus(P), or sulfur(S). The boron-containing cluster has a structure of chemical formula 1 or 2.
