PURPOSE: A method for inspection a contact defect of an operating switch of an electric parking brake system is provided to operate that a contact defect of an operating switch is decided by an unstable signal from an inputted signal for a plurality of set times. CONSTITUTION: A method for inspection a contact defect of an operating switch of an electric parking brake system comprises the following steps. If an operating switch receives an ON-signal, signal is filtered during a first set time(110). The operating switch receives an unstable signal during a second set time(120). If unstable signal is inputted during a third set time by inspecting additional signal is decided(130). The operating switch is decided as a contact defect(140).
