Summary:PURPOSE: A 3D data generation device, a method thereof, and a computer readable recording medium which records a program thereof are provided to automatically generate 3D data easily and efficiently using existing data such as isometric drawing. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(110) performs various instructions and input/output of data. By processing spreadsheet data of target component disposition, a 3D data producing unit(120) writes out 3D data of the target component disposition. A memory unit(130) stores the spreadsheet data of the target component disposition obtained by the interface unit or other units and the 3D data of the target component disposition obtained by the 3D data producing unit.
