Summary:PURPOSE: A scanning apparatus, a network scanning system and the scanning method of the network scanning system are provided to reduce error in a network scan setting condition by searching a scan protocol, which is supportable by a host device, and subsequently displaying the search result of the scan protocol. CONSTITUTION: A scanning device receives intrinsic information for at least one host device(S120). The scanning device searches a scan protocol using the intrinsic information(S130). Based on the search result, the scanning device displays a supportable scan protocol(S140). The scanning device selects at least one protocol(S150). A scan option which corresponds to the selected protocol is set(S160).
