Summary:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of boron carbide powder using magnetoelectricity reaction of combustion is provided to adjust the size of raw materials by performing a magnetoelectricity reaction of combustion in a vacuum or an inert gaseous environment. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of boron carbide powder using magnetoelectricity reaction of combustion comprises a step for self-propagating a high-temperature synthesis of raw materials in a vacuum or an inert gaseous environment and a step for manufacturing boron carbide powder. The raw materials include oxidation boron, magnesium, carbon, and alkaline salt. The magnesium is used as a metal reducing agent. The alkaline salt is used as a particle growth inhibitor.
