Summary:Disclosed herein is a modular solid-state lighting system, including a power supply module (PSM) for providing power to the system, a light-emitting element module (LEEM), and a slave control module (SCM), operatively connected to the LEEM and configured to provide one or more drive signals. The LEEM includes one or more light-emitting elements (LEEs) for providing light in response to the one or more drive signals. The SCM further configured to generate the one or more drive signals based on the at least one predetermined parameter of the light, and at least one operating condition of the LEEM and/or the PSM.
