Summary:PURPOSE: A data reproduction method and a reproducer thereof for varying the size of an image in consideration of the location of a caption are provided to control a caption without loss of the caption when the image is enlarged by the selection of a user. CONSTITUTION: A video decoder(50) decodes video data. A caption decoder(60) decodes caption data. An image controller(70) varies the relative location of the caption image according to the decoded caption data and the video image according to the decoded video data. A data synthesizer synthesizes the changed video image and caption image. A controller changes relative locations.
