Summary:PURPOSE: A method for producing heat-retaining fiber is provided to implement moisture-permeable waterproof and heat storage function with a second coating agent including carbon-based nano-materials, and to improve resistance to cleaning. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing heat-retaining fiber comprises the following steps of: forming a first coating agent by mixing PCM of 10~20 wt% having heat storage and calorific function and polyurethane resin of 80~90 wt%(S10); hardening the first coating agent on the fiber with a wet-coating method(S20); forming a second coating agent by mixing carbon-based nano-material of 1~5 wt% and hydrophilic non-porous type polyurethane resin of 95~99 wt%(S30); and hardening the second coating agent on the fiber(S40). The carbon-based nano-material is formed to CACO having particles of 100 nm.
