Summary:PURPOSE: A method for screening a material which suppresses interaction of DICAM and αvβ3 integrin is provided to detect candidate material in a highthroughput method and develop of therapeutic agent for cancer, inflammation and osteoporosis. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening inhibitor of interaction between DICAM(dual immunoglobulin domain containing cell adhesion molecule) and αvβ3 integrin comprises: a step of coating a polypeptide containing Ig domain I, II, or I and II of DICAM on a plate; a step of adding candidate material on the plate then culturing; a step of inoculating the αvβ3 integrin expression cells on the plate then culturing; and a step of measuring the number of cells in which αvβ3 integrin is expressed.
