PURPOSE: A remaining-gas retrieving device using a pump and a retrieving method thereof are provided to prevent a safety accident by discharging residual fuel in the replacing and repairing. CONSTITUTION: A remaining-gas retrieving device using a pump comprises a fuel pump(200), a retrieving tank(300), a combustor(400) and a nitrogen tank(500). The fuel pump transfers the fuel through a pipe connected to the fuel tank. The retrieving tank retrieves the fuel through the pipe. The retrieving tank stores the retrieved fuel. The combustor burns the gas remaining in the fuel tank interior. The combustor is connected to the fuel tank and the pipe. The residual gas is transferred to the combustor inside the fuel tank. The nitrogen tank pressurizes the nitrogen pressure inside the fuel tank.
