Summary:An apparatus and a method for manufacturing rectangular-lumber block using disused wood are provided to dry disused wood within a short time in order to secure an intensity of a finished product, thereby improving productivity. An apparatus for manufacturing rectangular-lumber block using disused wood comprises: a smashing unit(10) for smashing disused wood; a drier(20) for drying the smashed wood pieces; a resin mixer(30) for mixing the dried wood pieces with resin; and a molding unit(40) for molding the wood pieces into rectangular-lumber blocks. The molding unit consists of a lower molding frame and an upper molding frame.
