Summary:A mobile control method comprises the steps of notifying an edge node (30) of a terminal function indicating that a mobile terminal (10) has mobile IP client function (13), instructing the mobile terminal (10) to perform a mobile control operation with use of an IP function (14) instead of an MIP function (13) when the edge node (30) has a PMIP client function (30B), allowing the mobile terminal (10) to perform the mobile control operation with use of the IP function (14) in response to the instructions from the edge node (30), and allowing the edge node (30) to perform the mobile control operation with use of the PMIP client function (30B).
