Summary:The invention relates to a synchronous slow-running electrical machine which can be used, in particular, as motor-in-wheel drives or slow-running power generators for wind mills. The inventive machine comprises a stator with a multiphase coil system, wherein each coil is located on a separate tooth and the coils of said system are back-to-back interconnected. The number of coils in each coil system is equal to 3, 5, 7..., and the number of coil systems in a phase, the number of stator teeth and the number of pole-pairs are bound by determined relationships. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
