Summary:A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating coronary restenosis containing pyrazolopyrimidinone compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt is provided to suppress the vascularization and cell proliferation of vascular smooth muscle. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating coronary restenosis comprises pyrrazolopyrimidinone compound of the chemical formula 1 or 2 or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. In the chemical formula 2, R1 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl, R2 is hydrogen or C2-C6 alkyl, R3 is C1-C6 alkyl and R4 is heterocycle selected from pyridine, thiazol, pyrimidine, indane, benzothiazole, pyrazole, piperidine, morpholine, imidazole, pyrrolidine, thienyl, triazole, and pyrrole which is substituted or non-substituted with C1-C10 alkyl group. The coronary restenosis is caused by excessive proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cell.
